Rep. RoseMarie Swanger (R-Lebanon) announced today that the deadline for applying for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) winter maintenance jobs is drawing near and interested individuals should contact her office immediately for assistance. 

PennDOT will be hiring transportation equipment operators, mechanics, trades helpers, clerks and typists for temporary winter maintenance jobs that will run from this September through early April 2011.  Individuals must apply on line for these positions, and can do so by visiting Swanger’s website, RepSwanger.com, and clicking on Winter PennDOT Jobs. 

Anyone living in the 102nd Legislative District and having an interest in one of these positions should contact Swanger’s office for assistance. No applications will be accepted after June 18. 

The 102nd Legislative District includes the townships of Bethel, Cold Spring, East Hanover, Heidelberg, Jackson, Millcreek, North Annville, North Lebanon, South Lebanon, Swatara, Union, West Cornwall and West Lebanon, as well as the boroughs of Cornwall, Jonestown, Myerstown and Richland.
