Swanger to Host Town Hall Meeting
3/17/2010

State Rep. RoseMarie Swanger (R-Lebanon) is inviting Lebanon County residents to attend a town hall meeting on Thursday, April 1, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will be held at Bunkerhill Fire Company, 434 South Lancaster Street, Jonestown.

“I hope the people of Lebanon County will come out and take advantage of a chance to voice their opinions on the issues,” Swanger said. “The process of crafting a spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year has begun, and these town hall meetings serve as opportunities for constituents to get details about the budget process, as well as have any of their other legislative questions answered and concerns addressed.”

Swanger is in her 2nd term in the General Assembly, and serves on the following committees: Aging and Older Adult Services, Gaming Oversight and Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness. She is also a member of the House Republican Policy Committee’s Energy Task Force.

“My committee assignments have allowed me to really stay in touch with key issues to Lebanon County residents, such as legislation dealing with seniors, the table games debate and veterans affairs,” added Swanger. “I’m looking forward to speaking with the people of the 102nd District at our town hall meeting and providing them with the information they need.”
