State Rep. RoseMarie Swanger (R-Lebanon) would like to make the public aware of workshops being scheduled to assist veterans who own small businesses in Pennsylvania. The events are presented by the Pennsylvania Department of General Services and the Pennsylvania Veterans’ Business Advocates Committee.

A workshop will be held Friday, Feb. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the auditorium of The Forum Building, Commonwealth Avenue and Walnut Street, Harrisburg. A resource panel and open discussion will follow from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Information will also be available on assistance from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA). Business owners may explore available opportunities through the Commonwealth and other organizations.
