State Rep. RoseMarie Swanger (R-Lebanon) was on hand as veterans’ legislation she co-sponsored was signed into law by Gov. Tom Corbett. House Bill 755, authored by state Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk, seated), amends the County Code to make it easier for county veterans’ affairs directors to attend annual statewide association meetings and stay up to date on the latest veterans programs. On Monday, January 23, Rep. Swanger presented a House certificate to seven cheerleaders from her district that were chosen to represent their high schools as Pennsylvania's top 75 cheerleaders at the 55th Big 33 Football Classic, to be played June 16, at Hersheypark Stadium.
